Master Instructor Stephen Joffe will be delivering a full day of complete system knife fighting from the Filipino blade-fighting method of choice Pekiti Tirsia Kali. Stephen Joffe has earned title Mataas na Guro in this closely guarded family style, for his work as Tactical Instructor to Philippine Marine Corps & Police.
The Seminar will explore complete spectrum knife fighting from the practical perspective of combat; topics to be covered include: a brief overview of the system, footwork & range control, the blade manipulations, combat flow & partner drills, tactics & strategic applications.
The Seminar will be staged 9am – 4pm Saturday October 25th 2014 at Gleasons Boxing Gym, DUMBO, NYC.
Training fees: $125 [advance payment is required]
Equipment: bring your own training knives, protective eyewear is mandatory, supportive footwear is recommended, water, snacks, notepad & pen.
